Jeffery Reynolds
Received his undergraduate degree from Millsaps College, cum laude, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was Special Projects Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. Mr. Reynolds began his practice at a large Jackson law firm, where he rose to Partner, then to President of the firm. In March, 1998, Mr. Reynolds formed Jeffery P. Reynolds, P.A., where he maintained a successful practice before forming Reynolds | Kirschberg in June 2023 with partner Jason Kirschberg.
A wholehearted litigator, Mr. Reynolds has extensive experience in Oil & Gas/Environmental Litigation, Corporate Litigation, Commercial Litigation on Behalf of Creditors, Construction Litigation, and professional and governmental liability.


In 2021,
Mr. Reynolds was selected by the American Arbitration Association as one of its panel arbitrators. As an AAA Arbitrator, Mr. Reynolds has presided over many civil cases alleging a broad set of claims, including those asserting claims under the Credit Repair Organizations Act, the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, and legal malpractice.
In 2019, Jason Kirschberg, whom Mr. Reynolds had known professionally for years, worked with Mr. Reynolds on their first case together. Messrs. Kirschberg and Reynolds successfully defended Birdsong Construction, Co. against claims of bad faith and fraud, winning the case on a motion to dismiss for failure to plead the allegations under the federal pleading standards set forth in Bell Atl. Corp. v. Twombly, 550 U.S. 544 (2007) and Ashcroft v. Iqbal, 556 U.S. 662 (2009).
While working the case, Messrs. Kirschberg and Reynolds recognized a special synergy in their working relationship and soon began working together on several complex cases. In 2021, Mr. Kirschberg became Of Counsel to Mr. Reynolds’ firm and, after two highly successful years working together, Messrs. Kirschberg and Reynolds formed Reynolds | Kirschberg in June 2023, where they dedicate their practice to all forms of litigation, with a focus on civil litigation involving commercial disputes, professional liability, contractual disputes, oil and gas disputes, insurance coverage analysis, corporate collections, and defending law enforcement officers through the Police Benevolent Association. Messrs. Kirschberg and Reynolds also have experience litigating criminal matters in state and federal courts.
Mr. Reynolds is admitted to practice in the state and all federal courts of Mississippi, and is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. He was also named one of Mississippi’s top 50 attorneys by the Mississippi Business Journal, and has received the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major for Justice award from Jackson State University.
