R | K Lawyers Free Woman Held at Nursing Home Against her Will.

August 2023 – Reynolds | Kirschberg lawyers Jeff Reynolds and Jason Kirschberg filed an Emergency Petition for Temporary Restraining Order and Injunction against Clinton Healthcare, LLC’s nursing facility in Clinton, MS, for holding Louise Jackson against her will. Ms. Jackson was placed in the nursing home by her son, who claimed that, because he had power of attorney over Louise, he could force her to remain in the nursing home. Mr. Kirschberg traveled to the nursing home to seek an amicabale resolution, but Clinton Healthcare refused to release Louise. Messrs. Kirschberg and Reynolds thus quikcly researched and prepared the Emergency Petition and, within days, the nursing facility agreed to release Louise. Louise is now happily residing at home.
